Excellent nostalgic song!

This song is a great piece, with its higher transpose, its catchy rythym, and its uplifting tone; it sounded as if it was played on an electric piano. The beat really makes it sound so catchy. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the game over theme at the end. It was still a great touch to the song, but the notes seemed a bit too far apart. Aside from that, this is a great recreation of the original theme that really brings back those nostalgic memories.

No excuse for this; it's a mere copy.

I cannot give this any stars. The reason is because this is the exact same theme from "Super Mario Bros. 3" or the theme found on the SNES game "Super Mario All*Stars." This leads me to assume absolutely no effort was put into this, and this is not your work at all. Perhaps this was an attempt to receive a little online fame, or just an act of boredom. Nonetheless, this did not earn a good score because of its exact alikeness to the original game.

It has a lot of potential, but it could be better.

This remix could be a really great hit, but there are a few flaws that could stand to be worked on. The added video game sounds in the remix gave it a real video game feel to it, but I noticed that in some places, the tempo goes up and down, the pauses in between are too short, and a few of the notes are off key. I also feel that if some of the instruments were changed, it would liven up the remix, i.e. the flagpole theme. Regardless, I think this song could be really popular and catch on if it was worked on a little more.

It had no effort put into it.

The Super Mario Bros. theme has got to be the most popular video game theme of all time. I enjoy hearing people play the theme on different instruments, but I felt that this one lacked seriousness. In my opinion, I feel like this song was uploaded merely because it was a Super Mario Bros. reference, and not because of the quality. It would've sounded a lot better if more effort, practice and a much smoother rythym and beat were put into it. Otherwise, it seems this is the result of severe boredom.

"Familiar, but not appealing."

The underground theme is a really popular song when it comes to the Mario franchise. I enjoy most of the remixes done with that theme, but this one didn't catch my attention. The percussion was too uneven; it didn't have a rythym, but more like a fluctuating pattern. It wasn't very pleasing. The tone of the notes (in my opinion) sounded a bit scratchy, and off key; some of the notes were incorrect. I do give it a three stars, however, because it is a loop, and is somewhat accurate to the original theme. The quality could've been so much better.

Nothing Special

When I saw the Hammer Bros. theme in the list of search results, I was hoping I would find a nice remix of some sort; that theme was really catchy. Unfortunately, when I listened to this, I thought it was nothing more than the original NES theme ripped from the game and sped up slightly. I feel like no effort was put into this song at all, and it's not original in the least. I was disappointed.

Simply Amazing

Honestly, I've never heard this version of the song before. Regardless, it got my attention. It has an incredible beat to it, and really has that kind of sound; the kind of music you'd expect to hear in a casino! Brilliant!
